I tried going for a run on Monday, but my left foot has been bothering me since April and it started hurting two blocks into my run, so I switched to walking.
Biking wherever we can.
Taekwondo twice a week.

that's great, Val!
Do you run the whole time, or run with walking intervals?

When I ran my 5k I just ran the whole time, but I realized that there was NO WAY that was going to work for 10km. So, I've found that interval training works really well. This morning was a tough one 10 min run/1 min walk, 15 min run/1 min walk, 20 min run/1 min walk, 10 min run. I just couldn't do it...so I switched it to 10/1, 15/1, 10/1, 5/1, 5/1, 5/1, 5/1

That works really well for me. I think when I actually do my 10k, I'll do 6/1 the whole way...or so I think right now Smile

When I ran my 10km two years ago, I ran (well, jogged Embarassed ) the whole time, but it was very tiring.
If I start running again after my foot heals, then I think I would do the interval running. It just seems like I could pace myself faster doing that, I think.

Yikes, I'm not doing much, sadly.
I've been playing volleyball on and off. Was planning on playing every Tuesday, but then I found out that I'd have to pay $8 each week to go, and I wasn't willing to do that (last year it was free).
Doing a lot of biking lately though, and walking Max.

Walking a lot lately. I love the thought of running, but I don't think my knees do.

I was in the pool with the kids yesterday and tread water for 40 minutes while the boys were going off the board.

Wanted to do the 30 minute Shred, but my friend took off to Ont. and forgot to bring it over. There's always time to try that later on.

I swore I was going to bike more this summer, but a sore butt doesn't put me in my happy place. Rolling Eyes

You need a comfort ride bike, Carol.
I got one two summers ago (at the Corn & Apple sale at Olympic Sports) and I LOVE it!
(My butt loves it, too. Wink )

Oh my goodness, do I EVER know what you're talking about. After the first day we rode over the weekend my butt hated me. So the next day I shoved a towel inside my shorts. Did I seriously just admit that here?? Rolling Eyes It was the only thing I could think of that I had lying around for cushion. Laughing dh thought I looked ridiculous, but really, how many people would have noticed from a distance?
